Gin & Tonic Travel is a Nova Scotia-based travel agency and is part of TravelOnly, a Canadian Host agency based in Brampton Ontario. We have an Associate team consisting of two people and one affiliate.
Gin and Tonic Travel is growing, and we are seeking to take on a new affiliate.
After passing initial product training, which we will provide, we expect that you will become a generalist in selling travel. You will be trained on various aspects of travel, such as cruise, tours, all-inclusive, booking systems and administrative processes. Initially, you will be a generalist. After some time, we will ask you to specialize in the Caribbean and Mexico, primarily for the sale of all-inclusive products. We expect this to be about 60% of your business, as this will be one of the focus areas in our growth strategy.
The person we are looking for should have a passion for travel. Precision and a strong commitment to customer service are also essential. Good communication skills and a willingness and ability to travel are key. You will be working primarily in English, and knowledge of French is a plus.
This is a commissioned position, and a buy-in will be required. The amount of the buy-in and commission depends on your experience and background. We pay some of the highest commissions in the industry and offer opportunities to grow your income. You must be a legal Canadian resident, and preference will be given to persons with experience in the travel business.
